Dr. Steven Hopf’s Personal Information

Dr. Hopf is a Jasper native and returned home to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1997. He enjoys teaching and understands “doctor” means teacher. He prides himself upon listening to patients and will ask if there are any more questions until a patient is satisfied all their questions are answered. Dr. Hopf graduated with a degree in Biology from Indiana University, Bloomington and received his medical degree from I.U. as well. He completed his residency training through the I.U. Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and received the outstanding laparoscopist award and excellence in teaching award.

Dr. Hopf and his wife, Dana, have a son and two daughters. Dana is a pediatric occupational therapist who helps special needs children reach their full potential. Dr. Hopf enjoys Bible study, water skiing, forestry, and American history.
